Join the Austin Youth Collective
Are you a young person with firsthand experience of homelessness? Do you want turn that experience into expertise to improve programs, services, and systems in Austin’s Homelessness Response System — and make $25 an hour while you’re at it?
Then this opportunity is for you.
ECHO is now recruiting new members for the Austin Youth Collective, a group of youth and young adults with lived expertise of homelessness who work hand-in-hand with ECHO, LifeWorks, and other agencies central to our communitywide response to homelessness. As a member of this group, you’ll meet regularly with your teammates to set priorities for the group and inform policies and procedures that providers abide by. You’ll also have access to professional development, skill building, and advocacy opportunities.
