How to get homeless service providers COVID-19 supplies without leaving your couch

AUSTIN, Texas (July 24, 2020) — Homeless service providers need a lot of supplies during COVID-19 to keep themselves, their spaces, and especially their clients experiencing homelessness safe and healthy during the pandemic.

It’s hard for folks living unsheltered in our community to access hygiene supplies and protective gear to keep themselves healthy during COVID-19. Many also have underlying health conditions that make contracting the virus more dangerous.

ECHO is making it easy for you to help providers get people experiencing homelessness the supplies they need. Simply click this link to check out the Amazon list we created with our partners’ most-requested supplies. Order what you can, and it will be shipped directly to ECHO to distribute to our partners.

Some of the most critical needs include masks, small bottles of hand sanitizer to hand out to people experiencing homelessness, and disinfectant sprays and wipes.

You can also make a monetary donation through this form. All the funds we receive through that link will go directly to purchasing additional supplies to keep people safe and healthy.

Thank you for your support!
